大家好： 我是2024级毕业生王英淇的妈妈 2020年，正值新冠疫情爆发之年，英淇从政府学校转入华中国际，我们之所以选择这间学校，主要是因为这所学校多年来严谨的教学和显著的IB成绩。在近六年的初高中学习过程中，英淇从一个不太自信的孩子，慢慢蜕变成一个勇于接受挑战，勇于面对困难的男子汉。特别在IB课程的最后两年，孩子的自学能力也有了很大的提升。 除学习之外，学校还非常注重每个孩子的全面发展，每年学校组织的一些课外活动，也培养了孩子的好多兴趣爱好，同时一些户外运动也锻炼了孩子的坚毅品质。 感谢学校，感谢老师，为学生提供这么好的学习平台，让孩子在学习的路上奔跑前进。

Carol had a wonderful and enriching IB journey with HCIS. The school provided a nurturing environment to challenge students to better themselves academically, regardless of their starting point. The IB preparation was solid. Carol had many opportunities to work with schoolmates from across Asia and Southeast Asia, to explore interests, to participate in events and competitions and to embark on service learning together. The mutual learning from diverse backgrounds and cultures was invaluable. Every student has an interesting personal story of how they ended up at HCIS. Teachers are supportive of a wide range of pursuits, while also keeping students on track for the IB exams. We are grateful to the school.

HCIS was single-handedly the best choice we made with regards to choosing a school for Yones. Despite joining only midway through the semester, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly she was able to adjust to the new environment. The school has tirelessly extended their full support in making Yones feel secure and at home. The teachers here are really committed, dedicated and caring. We can feel that they genuinely care and truly want the best for Yones. We are grateful for all the teachers that put in extra time and effort to help Yones throughout her IB journey. Thank you HCIS for doing the groundwork required for Yones to flourish in future and develop into a resourceful, responsible and grateful person. They taught her skills so she would be able to independently navigate whatever challenges she may face in the ever changing world. The school has offered Yones more than we as parents ever desired for.

回顾吕正杰过去六年在华中国际学校的学习生活，孩子在各方面都取得了丰硕的成果。在学业上，学校提供了优质的师资和教育条件。优秀的老师们能科学系统地将各个学科的知识，技能与思维传授给学生，使孩子在不同阶段和方式的学习中都受益匪浅，最终在学业上取得了优异的成绩并为今后的学习奠定了坚实的基础。其次，学校十分注重孩子全方面发展。丰富的课外活动能培养孩子的兴趣爱好，多样的学生组织也为锻炼孩子们的组织领导能力提供了宝贵的机会。例如学生会每年主办的一年级新生露营不仅能帮助新同学快速融入学校，同时也锻炼了负责组织活动的学生的领导才干，一举两得。孩子们通过学校参与的各种论坛，竞赛和社区志愿服务活动等丰富了他们的成长经历，培养了他们自信自强，关爱他人的品格。此外，最难能可贵的是学生在华中国际学校多元化和国际化的师生背景下，在不同国家，文化，思维方式的交融，碰撞与互鉴中学会了相互理解，包容和换位思考并收获了真挚的同学友谊。我们非常高兴与欣慰孩子在华中国际成长为了扎根中华文化，拥抱世界格局的有志青年。作为家长，我们选择华中国际学校是非常正确的，在此也祝福学校蒸蒸日上。

Studying alongside students with diverse backgrounds from different countries has certainly enriched his understanding of how to interact with different cultures. Experience as student council, HMUN and other competitions and activities arranged by school was invaluable in building his self-confidence. During his 6 years of studying in HCIS the teachers have mostly been very supportive.

Enrolling Esther into HCIS’s IB programme was a brave, experimental decision, knowing that it is not the mainstream in Singapore. We liked the collegiate environment and the small intakes. The school, though small, is well equipped. The programme is well structured and designed to allow ample time for students to grow, develop curiosity in learning and find interest in life!

HCIS fosters an all-rounded development environment for its students that values diversity of thought, gender, and nationality. Aryan being the only student with an Indian origin in his cohort whilst feeling at home is a testament of such. The teachers and staff at HCIS are genuinely committed to the development and success of the students. Ongoing strong encouragement, open and transparent discussions with students on their learning progress, frequent parent interactions where needed, and openness to provide extra time to students with learning gaps are some of the many strong attributes of the learning environment that HCIS faculty creates for its students that contributes to student’s success such as Aryan’s case.
